I bet that most of you are already home from your vacations and it was a beautiful sunny summer ( a bit too hot even!).
As I'm an absolute fan of sun, sand & sea, obviously this summer I have sunbathed a lot. And yes, using SPF is crucial, but the skin is still quite sensitive to sun exposure ( and sand for that matter), so when you get home, you definitely have to make a routine care for your sun exposed skin.
So today, I chose some of my favorite products from Notino to share with you and kinda of create that ideal routine in case you'd like to adopt one.
First of all, you'll need to do a good body scrub ! Make sure you'll pick a body scrub adapted to your skin type.
From my part, it was very difficult to make a choice in between these two wonders, so I'm just going to present both of them :).
The Collistar Anti-Water Talasso-Scrub is one of my absolut favorites. Collistar products in general are quite high up my preference scale as it is, but this scrub is fantastic !
It removes dead cells and impurities from the skin, much well needed with all that dead skin hanging around after sun exposure. It also hydrates and nourishes the skin to perfection and it makes the skin soft and hydrated
It has has energising and revitalising effects
and last, but not least, acts against the accumulation of sebum.
Another great body scrub that I love is the Coconut Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub from The Body Shop. It's much lighter than your usual body scrub, but definitely as efficient.
Little extra: it's vegan !
Having a nourishing shower gel after having a body scrub is essential.
The Moroccanoil Body Ambre Noir shower gel is a great product to have; it gently washes the skin of the body and provides it with the necessary hydration, while it softens it and improves its elasticity.
Also, it smells fantastic :)
Another product you may not know, that coincidentally is called Solaire and which is also actually a great hair & body nourishing shower gel, found its way on my list because it cares for both hair & body.
The brand is called René Furterer and I have discovered it thanks to this wonderful product.
After a good body scrub and a nice wash with a good shower gel, now comes the body cream moment :).
The Ritual of Mehr is a fantastic body cream from the collection that bares its name, part of Rituals. It's easy to apply, absorbs fast and does not stick. It renews the comfort and vitality of the skin!
And because I have previously mentioned the Collistar body scrub, then I absolutely had to mention the Intensive Firming Cream Plus with collagen and hyaluronic acid activator as well.
It contains
- vitamin E which protects the skin against free radicals and premature ageing
- hyaluronic acid that keeps the skin hydrated
- cereal proteins which nourish the skin and olive oil that makes the skin supple.
