Hope you had an amazing weekend. To end this week even more on an amazing note, I’m back with a special article dedicated to perfumes. There are a lot of novelties in the perfume world right now and I wanted to share with you my encounter with 3 very new perfumes that I absolutely adore. You can, of course, find them all at Notino.
You probably saw this one on my Instagram as well. It’s definitely one of Yves Saint Laurent‘s greatest hits ( perfume wise). Libre by Yves Saint Laurent hit the market not long ago ( probably a couple of months or so; sadly I couldn’t attend the launch party…).
This perfume is for someone who feels free from all inhibitions, a courageous woman who knows what she wants and goes for it. That’s how I see the perfume. I love everything from the design to how it smells.
If you are wondering about the scent, the key notes are:
Lavender Essence, Orange Blossom, Musk Accord
I feel that a lot of brands went over the top with launching their perfumes this season. Another one is Lancôme and its new fragrance Idôle. It has been created by 3 top perfumers that combined citrus, rose, jasmine, white musk and vanilla to result in this feminine fragrance.
The bottle design is also quite original and very sophisticated, modern, making it a huge hit in the Lancôme perfume range, but also worldwide. Also, Idôle is the world’s thinnest fragrance bottle ! How awesome is that ?
Last, but not least ( definitely not least), is Narciso Rodriguez‘s newest fragrance PURE MUSC for her.
Now you all know I’m a big fan of Rodriguez and its perfumes. I swear the God this guy didn’t launch any perfumes that I would despise. PURE MUSC is no exception.
It has been created by Sonia Constant that considered to give the perfume these key notes:
Orange Blossom, Heart of Musc, Cashmeran
The perfume smells extraordinary and I’m actually wearing it on my wrist as I’m writing to be in complete adoration while I share with you my thoughts on this particular fragrance. And yes, it does hold a lot !
The design is like all the other N. Rodriguez perfumes, so design wise, no change, but I don’t mind as I feel it’s his signature.
