Since Black Friday is just around the corner and we want to make the best deals and best buys, I wanted to share with you a little secret so you will shop smart. No more overspending, no more buying things that you will not use and even maybe throw away afterwards because, let's face it, we live in a world where over consuming is a thing and personally, I like to inspire people to acquire things that they would actually need in their life.
Thus, this is my article on smart shopping for the Black Friday event, beauty edition.
1. First off, plan ahead.
The holiday season is just around the corner so think presents. Why spend more afterwards when you can simply make the best savings ahead of time?
Make a gift list of all the people you're giving something this year, then maybe add a brand they like next to their name and then you can have a look on the Notino website, where guess what ? Black Friday has already started and they have a lot of brands and products that are suitable for every taste and every occasion.
For instance, I know my mom loves the Dolce & Gabbana The One Gold perfume ( or any other perfume from the brand as it is), so it's a great choice. Do that with your list and when the moment comes, shop smart !
2. Not shopping for Christmas or maybe you've done your gift shopping already ?
Then maybe you'd like to review a bit your beauty stock, as I like to call it. See, Black Friday is only once per year, it's true, we may have some promotions over the year, but for Black Friday, in general, these promotions are the best. So, low on face cream ? Low on perfume ?
Make a list ! I like to review my stock and I already how much I use from my cosmetic products.
For instance now I'm quite low on my concealers, so on my list you'll definitely find the Effacernes Longue Tenue from Lancôme, but also the Phyto-Cernes Eclat from Sisley which is a concealer that I always wanted to try.
3. And that brings me to my third piece of advice that I wanted to share with you - the holy grail search. Over the year, I do try a lot of beauty products and I just add them to a list ( yes, again a list), so when I see they're on promotion, I buy them. These, again, are products that I really adore and that I'll use. Other than the concealer I've previously mentioned, I'd also like to add the Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Power Eye Cream .
So this is how I do my shopping. Planning is key !
