The purpose
Hi guys, Hope you are having a sweet weekend ! Since I’m trying to rest more this weekend, I thought some more pc time wouldn’t kill me :). On that note, today I’m going to share with you my experience at Radisson Blu Hasselt , a hotel I had the pleasure to stay in while doing some business over there.
The Sky Lounge
Upon my arrival that evening, after taking a tour at the hotel’s swimming pool & sauna, I was delighted to serve some tapas & drinks with a magnificent view.
The Sky Lounge bar situates itself on the last floor, brining a cozy atmosphere, awesome cocktails and a sight of the city lights that will not soon be forgotten. It reminded me of Bangkok a bit. Btw, you don’t have to be a hotel guest to take advantage of this service.
The stay
The rooms are clean and tidy. I had a big bathtub in mine that I loved so much… the bed is very comfortable and it’s so hard to get up in the morning :). I would have loved to sleep more in it ! In my room, on the 9th floor, there was a little window with quite the large view over the city; it was pretty amazing, especially in nighttime. The hotel is situated very good, close to shops ( you have H&M literally “glued” to the hotel, as well as other nice shops) and has an underground (paying) parking where you can leave your car safely over night.
Breakfast is good, everything you can expect from a buffet breakfast. I don’t eat a lot, but I was happy to see that they had also my fave, hot chocolate ! 💖 I also liked the assortiment of cheese and pastry.
The Koper Restaurant
Another thing worth mentioning is the Koper Restaurant that I simply adored. The food was soooo amazing and the service was excellent ! I don’t know who the chef is, but kudos of doing an amazing job. Sometimes I feel like I’m a food critic cause I don’t eat that much and I’m very pretentious with food, so when I eat everything on my plate you know it’s a good sign. We took the “wild suggestions” and enjoyed an amazing meal; I def would recommend the pheasant ; it’s delicious !
The end
All in all, I enjoyed my stay at Radisson Blu Hasselt and I wish I would have stayed more to take advantage of the city and of course, that fine dinning at the restaurant :). I hope you liked my article and you can always email me, as usual, if you have questions !
