How have you been lately ?
I've been enjoying some well deserved time off and spending my days mostly relaxing and playing with Willy ( my new puppy). There's a lot of changes going on in the new year and I must say, I was very troubled at first, but then I decided I won't stress anymore - que sera, sera.
Since I'm having a few free moments on my hands, I wanted to bring you a quick article on some very interesting fragrance novelties that I managed to pick out from the Notino website.
These here would be my personal faves if I were to choose, so can't wait to read your opinion on them.
Let's start with one of my top favorites. And yes, at first sight you may think this is a perfume for the ladies, but actually the Dolce & Gabbana The One Mysterious Night is a perfume for him ! It was launched in 2018, but now you can find it at Notino as well, being part of the new perfumes category. It's a woody/spicy perfume that reminds us of the middle east charm. The top notes consist of
saffron, grapefruit, while
heart notes are focused on agar wood, rose and clary sage; and then you'll have base notes of rare wood species, tonka beans, cistus, amber.
Passing on to a perfume for us ladies, how do you feel about Gucci Guilty Intense ?
It's a sophisticated fragrance, very sensual and very posh. It falls in the woody-floral category, having top notes of Mandarin oil, heart notes of ylang ylang and finishes off with patchouli base notes.
Not many heard about the brand Novellista - Violet Charade is one of their emblematic perfumes, a perfume that is for both men and women.
We are in the oriental/floral vibe still, created in a limited edition and presented in a matte black bottle.
The perfume was brought to life by perfumer Emilie Bouge and I must say that she did a fantastic job ! It's definitely one of my favorite perfumes. Of course, the price reflects the quality :)
And last, but definitely not least, I chose Montblanc and the amazing perfume for him, Legend. And this perfume is definitely a LEGEND ! It's such a masculine scent, the type of perfume that you'd love to feel on your partner. It's a scent originally created by Olivier Pescheux in 2011, now available at Notino in the eau de parfum version, top notes are violet, the heart notes are woody and base notes focus on leather
