I hope you are all doing well and that the new week got you all excited. This Sunday so many of you are celebrating Easter and I think it's so exciting. I'm orthodox so I'll be officially celebrating Easter on Sunday 24th, but I like that living in Belgium always gives me the chance to celebrate Easter twice per year ! In Romania, we always tend to get new things for Easter so we 'renew' ourselves, that's why I thought I'd do a little article on a perfume #wishlist, for both ladies and gents, so maybe I can inspire you with some gifts that you can give yourself on this occasion.
I actually did a perfume selection for on this occasion, as I found quite a few on the Notino website.
I did my wishlist for all budgets, but I'll just start with my personal favorite, the Musc Noir Rose for her, from Narciso Rodriguez.
I have several perfumes from this brand and I must say, I love them all !
Like most of its 'siblings' the Musc Noir Rose is an oriental scent, musky even.
To have an idea the top notes
are of pink pepper, bergamot, you'll find middle notes of musk and tuberose, plus a base note of patchouli, vanilla and suede.
Staying in the same budget zone, I present to you L'Eau d'Issey Summer Edition by Issey Miyake.
I know we are far from summer and with the rainy weather lately it really put summer way far in the future, but hey, the forecast seems to be very positive for the days to come and what better occasion is there to wear a sweet floral perfume ? I love to wear these in both spring & summer personally. It feels like the general sunny mood is heighten :).
Top notes in this perfume are neroli, aqual™, bergamot from Calabria; then the middle notes consist of tincture of rose, frangipani and orange blossom. And last, the base notes are driftwood, coconut milk, musk.
I don't know if you are familiar with this brand, I personally discovered Mauboussin on Notino!
For a budget friendly brand, I find it quite fantastic so I've decided to include 2 of its perfumes here in this article.
Let's start with My Twist which is a fruity-floral perfume for her. The design is very cool already and I think this would be a cool gift idea as well.
As far as the ingredients, the top notes
consist of orange and blackcurrant,
middle notes of jasmine, neroli and tuberose, base notes of vanilla and musk.
And since I promised a perfume for him as well, here you have one from the same brand. Pour Lui In Black is an oriental perfume with a woody allure.
Still on a budget friendly vibe, this perfume looks and smells and stays quite good for its price category.
Top notes:
- Italian mandarin, mint, caramel
Middle notes:
- black violet, sage, juniper
Base notes
- guaiac wood, benzoin, patchouli leaves
