How are you today ? Dealing with the crappy weather, no doubt, especially if you’re in Belgium ( or vicinity ) . I sincerely would have preferred the snow instead of this endless rain and mushy ground.
I wanted to share with you today my thoughts about something more beautiful, something that is not in accordance with the weather, something that reminds me of more sunnier days ! And as far as involuntary/olfactory memory goes, the The Only One 2 from Dolce & Gabbana really brings back memories from last year when I was laying in the sun, somewhere at the seaside or just enjoying lovely weather in the city.
The Only One fragrance hit the market in 2018, as a continuing version of the original Dolce & Gabbana – The One ( which is also my mother’s all time favorite). The saga continued last year when they launched The Only One 2 ! Personally, my favorite is this latest one. With top notes like pear, red berries, blackberry and freesia this perfume has become very quick one of my top perfume favorites.
As you can imagine, you can find all the saga at Notino at incredible prices !
The middle/heart notes of the perfume are: red rose ( which I can sense very well and totally LOVE), violet and coffee and the base ones are of tonka, patchouli, ambergris and something woody – amber woods !
The bottle design is chic, reminding also of the original The One perfume, but in a more ‘vertical’ version.
I would understand why Emilia Clarke was proposed as the face of their campaign/launch to promote the perfume as I think she fits the vibe of the perfume – feminine, yet strong, with a sensual touch. The campaign was shot in Rome and it was a blast !
From my experience, the perfume tends to hold for a long time, so you can check that off your list of questions 🙂 .
So, there you have it – my full review for this lovely perfume ! I’m sure that you’ll love it, especially if you’re the Dolce& Gabbana type 😉 .
